Apesar de todos os problemas na Europa: França declara guerra, Paris em ataques terroristas, imigrantes morrem em pleno mar, a natureza silenciosamente mantém seu ciclo. Depois do sol vem o frio, depois do frio vem a neve. Serão de um a quatro meses de "luto em branco", sol somente nas nossas mentes e corações, se assim for.

There are several things in this world that I do not understand, and I may as well try. One is why people is so attached to physical appearance, how the others look like, not what they feel, what they think, what they prize. That would explain why the media is so powerful, even keeping lies about everything, aids is the core of a good business, people are so worried the way they dress, they act, not the ideas they believe; the legendary story of Jesus and the thieves is a classic; the other is the classic "The beast and the beauty". That explains why the plastic surgery industry is so powerful and lucrative. To go through a surgery because you need is one thing, face the knife for vanity is another, for me, it makes no sense; by no means I claim I am different, I am better. In an episode, in the American culture, what nowadays would be considered prejudice, unethical, was when the government, if I am not making mistake, supported a project for selecting people with "good gene", for a genetic pool for the future, the selection was based on physical appearance, the way people looked like, sometimes it makes me wonder what about if human could choose for instance how their offspring would look like, the same way they can choose the name. In all that I know, in all that human could choose, it was a recipe of disaster. I am not religious, but sometimes I agree with religious, let God makes its work. The second thing about people that makes it angry is the extreme wish to control their destiny, every single details. I agree that you should have some control on how many kids you have, how much you expend per month, but most of the time, the choices are stupid, meaningless, selfish, careless with the other's feeling, opinions and so on.
