There are several things in this world that I do not understand, and I may as well try. One is why people is so attached to physical appearance, how the others look like, not what they feel, what they think, what they prize. That would explain why the media is so powerful, even keeping lies about everything, aids is the core of a good business, people are so worried the way they dress, they act, not the ideas they believe; the legendary story of Jesus and the thieves is a classic; the other is the classic "The beast and the beauty". That explains why the plastic surgery industry is so powerful and lucrative. To go through a surgery because you need is one thing, face the knife for vanity is another, for me, it makes no sense; by no means I claim I am different, I am better. In an episode, in the American culture, what nowadays would be considered prejudice, unethical, was when the government, if I am not making mistake, supported a project for selecting people with "good gene", for a genetic pool for the future, the selection was based on physical appearance, the way people looked like, sometimes it makes me wonder what about if human could choose for instance how their offspring would look like, the same way they can choose the name. In all that I know, in all that human could choose, it was a recipe of disaster. I am not religious, but sometimes I agree with religious, let God makes its work. The second thing about people that makes it angry is the extreme wish to control their destiny, every single details. I agree that you should have some control on how many kids you have, how much you expend per month, but most of the time, the choices are stupid, meaningless, selfish, careless with the other's feeling, opinions and so on.

Wisdom or constrained evolution?

In biology, it is called constrained evolution

In  our society, it is called wisdom

Part 1:

La ragazza del treno, I have decided to look for this book for buying it in the airport, it has been a while that I have heard about this book, in TV. In general, I never buy stuff under aids, I hate aids. I think that for what is good there is no need for advertisements, of course, for every rule likely there are exceptions. It really freaks me out how airport is a pain in the ass, flights are always late, things are so expensive, a single meal can cost you a lot, not to mention all those controls that make me angry, as so that I prefer something else, such as bus or train. Of course, I understand they must be sure that no terrorist is trying something funny, but it really makes our lives a nightmare. For instance, on my back, they have lost my luggage, and it is unbelievable how shit they are regarding this matter, the company does not give a damn, the airport talk to you whenever they please, and you stay without your things that are important for you. As I had to stand on this line, waiting for someone, already one hour late, to appear, then I can finally follow my way, dead or my final trip aim. Finally someone comes out of the blue and start letting us in, I am one of the last in the line, I was the first, but since I try to be polite, as soon as someone appeared, everyone comes like ants looking for sugar and I have lost sight of my position trying to be polite. I believe that stressed people in this world, we already have enough, I try to compensate everything, such as, selfish people we have a lot, eccentric people we have a lot. The biggest problem, disgusting thing about us, is thinking that the universe goes around us, our lives is so important that if we had an spotlight just for us, we certainly would use it. Such as, nowadays, the internet is making possible for people to show up easily, once it was called the fire of the vanities, bearing in mind we try to show all, from small and meaningless things to bigger ones. It is no longer a problem to publish, now it is to be heard.

The worse thing that can happen to someone is liking someone and fail to accomplish what your hopes take you to. A broken heart is quite difficult, specially if it has been happening for quite a while. What can be a quite pain is the fact that you are so down that you talk to someone, and certainly that person is not going to loss the opportunity to tell you what to do. They advise how you should have handled the problem, e.g. you should not tell her you feelings, you should not go so fast, you should have waited, you shouldn't have waited. What piece me off the most is that the comments are vague, personal, and limited; as vague as prediction from people that read cards. Some would take them as granted, once when you fail, you fail. At least in my reality, a girl's no is no, there is no coming back. So what lasts to us is either cry until no tear is left or take an active position, making science of it! Einstein once said that theory is when you know all, but nothing works; experiment is when all works, but no one understand a thing. Herein we are in the theory domain.
